SUS304L
Characteristics
SUS304L is a low-carbon version of SUS304 stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, especially after welding. The reduced carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, allowing it to maintain corrosion resistance without requiring post-weld heat treatment. Post-weld annealing is only recommended when components are used under high-stress service conditions.
