17-4PH
Characteristics
17-4PH is a precipitation hardening stainless steel with combustion resistance and corrosion resistance equivalent to SUS304, and high strength and hardness can be obtained by subjecting it to heat treatment. Because the aging process of 17-4PH can be conducted at low temperatures, no large strain is likely to result, thus being used for applications such as a long shaft.
