Hastelloy® C276 (UNS N10276 / W.Nr. 2.4819) is a high-performance nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with added tungsten that offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive environments. It is specifically designed to resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in both oxidizing and reducing media. Unlike many other alloys, Hastelloy C276 does not form harmful grain-boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, allowing it to be used in the as-welded condition.
