Characteristics

XM-19 is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel with corrosion resistance superior to SUS316 and SUS317. The material exhibits extremely good mechanical properties for both low temperature and high temperature applications. It is highly resistant to sulphide stress corrosion and intergranular attack.
